Most of the time, a horse has "monocular" vision. This means a different image is seen by each eye so that a horse is seeing two different pictures at the same time. A horse can also have "binocular" vision.

Lucie Clayton Johnston and Hidden Springs Aw Shucks reflect after their win!   

Cailin Schaefer of Franklin gets a hug from mom Camille Schaefer after Cailin won Reserve Champion in Walk Trot Hunter. Cailin also works with teacher Stephanie  Hall.

Brownland Farm's No Frills III Hunter Jumper show was an idyllic affair with the temperatures comfortable, the horses and riders well prepared, and the serene atmosphere at Brownland Farm all coming together to create an elegant show this past weekend (August 28, 2010).
 
Four show rings were in use for the different classes which offered something for all ages and all levels of riders.
 
Horse Lover was there for the Equitation 11 and Under Flat class which featured several young riders and their ponies.
 
The winner of the class was Lucie Clayton Johnston aboard Hidden Springs Aw Shucks.  Lucie Clayton works with teacher Stephanie Hall of  Woodridge Farm, Inc.
