Newsflash

Most of the time, a horse has "monocular" vision. This means a different image is seen by each eye so that a horse is seeing two different pictures at the same time. A horse can also have "binocular" vision.

Well, Good morning all!  We have about 2-3 inches of snow on the ground here in Franklin. The four of us (Sonny, Sock, Copper and I )  are doing just fine in it though.  Marla, Chuck and Bill have been feeding us a little extra and making sure we have plenty of water. None of us wear blankets, even in the coldest weather.  Marla believes it is best for us to adjust to our climate, which granted is mild most of the time.

I have lost some more weight this month….I am down to 1096!  My laminitis has not returned and  right now I am doing really well!

Well, I do have to go eat a little more hay now to ward off the cold and ice. Take care all!  Sierra
